Rebecca and Joe back aboard. Monday was the backup day since Sunday had storms. the wind was blowing and we were a rocking, but we got to the grounds safely with light shower. we made the best of a good mix of 3- and 4-foot waves. got line out and had the first bite, was runt not much bigger than the eel. and shook loose right at the boat. Second bite was on small eel could tell was blue right away, let it eat enough to take the hook. Third bite was a bigger cobia but spit the hook with some slack in the line while getting it out of the other rods. we went 0-2 of the cobia bite, but trolled bit on the way back to the dock managed to get another blue fish and a decent Spanish in the boat. It was great to have you guys back on the boat this year. water temps 79°-80°
