First day of rockfish Season! seen and lost some good fish today. Decided to us the ultralight today to make thing interesting. The Daiwa UL7 and 4' Apollo Rod was on fire. Managed to get few in the Kayak. Plenty of Trout, Flounder, Perch, Reds a lot of shorts. Lost 1 good size flounder. Landed a bigger red. Even found a rockfish but was dink.
